Job Title: Program / Acquisition Mid-level

DOD Clearance: Must have a ACTIVE Secret Clearance

Location: Washington, DC Metro Area (Washington Navy Yard) Telework is not an option

Education: BS, Engineering, IT or related field

Requirements: 4-6 years of experience in a Navy/DoD Acquisition Program Office environment supporting Requirements   Analysis, Program Reviews, Gate Reviews, Program Scheduling and Milestone Decision documentation development.

•    Must have a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

•    Successful experience in tracking details related to projects and user support issues through the full project lifecycle

•    Experience and ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, in a diverse environment

Position Description: • Provide Acquisition Management support to a Program Executive Office overseeing multiple Major Automated Information System (MAIS) Programs or a single MAIS Program Office.

• Support various components of the DoD IT Acquisition Lifecycle by developing, updating and maintaining DoD and Navy-specific acquisition strategies, procurement plans and supporting documentation.

• Ability to provide recommendations to the team lead, task lead and client and coordinate the planning and execution of team assignments.

• Assist in developing project management schedules and perform analysis, including developing project schedule tasks with dependencies and milestones, and associated processes for validating task, resource, and schedule realism that accurately includes milestone dates, predecessor and successor dependencies, and identifies critical path activities across multiple software and related functional areas.

  • Conduct Market Research and price analysis.
  • Provide analysis, industry standard prices and negotiation positions for CLIN items; review and submit recommendations for invoicing issues; and provide research and suggestions for ordering tool operations and training.
  • Assist the PCO team with the resolution of emergent contracting issues including tracking, management and negotiation of un-priced CLIN items, Enterprise order processing and invoicing issues.
  • Assist in disseminating contract modifications, conforming the contract, as well as other administrative support
  • NERP navigation and entry
